Welcome To My Site
Hi, my name is Steven Lacey, and if you're here to see my page then I've applied to become an affiliate with your company or I've applied to be an advertiser with your company. Please read what I have to say and then make your decision about accepting me.

This webpage is a work in progress. I'm new to the business of internet marketing, and my business model at this time involves advertising affiliate programs through PPC campaigns and banner advertising on a CPM basis. I started this page when I signed up with one of the popular affiliate marketplaces. As my business progresses I plan to change this page from a simple blog site into something that fits into the way my business changes.

I've been evaluating various programs that can be advertised on the internet as an affiliate. I've found that a lot of merchants require an applicant to provide a webpage for them to review as part of their decision making process. I would imagine that merchants review web pages as a quality control process to protect their company?s image. The review gives the merchants an opportunity to evaluate the quality of a potential affiliate.

As a PPC advertiser I didn't see any value in putting time into designing a page. Now I realize that this page is my opportunity to tell merchants more about myself.

I live in Albuquerque, NM. I am a long time New Mexico resident who came to Albuquerque to go to college. I accumulated 142 credit hours at Albuquerque Technical & Vocational Institute with an accumulated GPA of 3.72. I studied various subjects, but I majored in classes that were designed to feed Intel with technicians to work in their manufacturing plant in Rio Rancho.

As my life evolved I decided to abandon the idea of working at Intel. Intel offers great pay and benefits, but I finally decided that I didn't want to find myself working in a clean room environment doing what sounded like repetitive work. I like freedom and variety as well as open spaces. That's why I've decided to put effort into finding a way to make a living on the internet. The internet is the most progressive and open environment possible. I think I'll be able to find success and happiness through working here.

I have good strong computer skills. I have done desktop tech support for a living for a while. So far I don't think I have found a software application that I couldn't figure out. I have worked with webpage development software, but I haven't done anything with it recently. I also have had experience with graphic and image creation and manipulation using programs such as Adobe Photoshop.

I think I have good writing skills. I was at the top of the class in every English class I have taken, and I have honed my skills further through personal activities.

I think that I have the foundation to build a very successful internet based business, and I hope you will assist me in that goal by accepting my application to become an affiliate with your company.

Thank you for you consideration

Steven Lacey
